About the Artist:
An abstract artist working in paint, mixed media and photography, I constantly experiment with form, colour and composition to explore the intersection of science and the humanities.
Statement:
Over some time, I’ve developed the series Caustic Optimism. Using a small camera to photograph natural light through a simple glass object—literally, inside home looking out—I’ve captured a wide range of abstracted images. The off-kilter perspective from these “caustic optics” + “cautious optimism” = my belief we’ll get through.
