About the Work and Artist:
Suzanne lived most of her adult life in South Western Ontario surrounded by countryside and rolling hills. She is an avid horsewoman and outdoor enthusiast.
She felt a longing to express herself creatively and found abstract painting opened the door for her.
Suzanne began taking art lessons locally and was able to connect emotionally with large scale abstract acrylic painting.
Although she is relatively new to this art form, Suzanne feels passionate about continuing to learn and grow as an artist. She believes that she learns something new each time she puts brush to canvas.
Her recent move to Vancouver Island has expanded the internal creative urge even further.
