About the Society and Their Work:
Scale model building (or “Scale Modelling”) is an activity that involves constructing miniature replicas of objects such as vehicles, ships, aircraft, figures and buildings. Accuracy and attention to detail is rigorously pursued. Scale Modelling is a hobby, but has practical applications as well, such as in architectural and engineering design and development, ie: the movie industry and in museum displays.
IPMS Victoria is a chapter of the International Plastic Modellers Society, a worldwide group that shares a passion for the hobby of scale model building.
