About the Artist:
As a multidisciplinary artist I have taken part in various facets of the Victoria, BC, art community for thirty years, as an art collector, art dealer, curator, art teacher, graphic designer, small book publisher, and art jurist. My paintings, sculptures and prints have been informed by art history, human identity, and the discards of commercial culture. I am a colourist with an emphasis on the object as I borrow materials and subject matter from various aspects of the urban environment to realize the concepts that inform my work. My latest work examines the juncture of art and the economy.
